Uploaded by lsusportsnet on Feb 4, 2012 On Feb. 3, 2012, Lady Tiger junior Charlene Lipsey returned to her home state and enjoyed a record-setting performance in winning the 1,000 meters championship at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational held at The Armory in New York. Lipsey, a native of Hempstead, N.Y., took the title with a time of 2:44.34 as she eclipsed the previous meet record by more than 1 second!! Event 15 — Women 1000 Meter Run Championship
